How tego works

No. tego works in the browser you already have open. If you end up using it a lot, you can add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app, but that is entirely optional and nothing nags you about it.

No. The neutral voice is the default and it assumes nothing about faith. A circle can choose encouragement or prayer as its tone, and then tego speaks that way for that circle only. Nothing is ever framed as prayer unless a circle asked for it.

You can pause a circle when things go quiet, which stops the reminders without closing anything. You can archive it when it is genuinely over, which keeps everything as a read-only keepsake. And if the worst happens, a circle can move to memorial, where the tone softens, giving can be re-pointed to the family, and people can keep speaking to the circle. Messages sent privately to the person stay sealed forever.

No, and tego is built so you never feel like you do. There are no unread counts waiting on you and nothing that tracks whether you kept up. If you want to acknowledge something, one tap sends the whole circle a quiet note that it reached you. That is the entire obligation, and even that is optional.

Only the people your coordinator put in the inner tier. Everyone else sees the warm version, and nothing in their view suggests there is more. Anyone outside the circle sees nothing at all.

If you have added tego to your home screen, what you have recently played is kept on that device so it plays again without a connection. It is the hospital-basement case, and it is deliberate.

No. Recordings are never a public address. tego checks that you are allowed to hear something and then issues a temporary link that stops working shortly afterwards, so there is no permanent address to a message that could be forwarded or found.

Not yet. Giving is designed and written but it is not switched on, so nothing on tego will take a card today. A circle can say it is opening a fund, and it is marked as opening soon rather than dressed up as live.

All of it. There is no mandatory platform fee taken out of a gift. There is an optional tip for tego and it is always one tap to zero, never pre-selected, and never guilted.
